Where we go

We specialize in region-specific travel within Italy. We don't believe that you can truly experience a country like Italy by seeing Rome, Florence, Venice, Milan and Naples in a week. You end up missing the country, the people, the little towns and vistas in between, which to us is what its all about.
Our trips are about seeing real people, real places and understanding why WE love it. So we focus on one region per tour so there is less time travelling between destinations and more time AT them. In some instances we will combine regions because they are geographically convenient.
Trips are generally 9-10 days long and all inclusive

PUGLIA AND BASILICATA
September 20-30, 2023

Back to the stiletto heel in the boot that is Italy. We visit eastern and southern Puglia with a return to Villa Cappelli near Bari and south to the Salento wine region. We take in world UNESCO Heritage site Matera for one breathtaking evening, and enjoy the warm waters of the Ionian Sea at the beach. Wine and Cheese, the freshest seafood, we haunt markets and hunt wine.  Fava beans and Olive oil, Baroque architecture in Lecce and fresh spada from Gallipoli. We see nonnas making orecchiette in Bari and watch fresh mozzarella being stretched in the Murgia hills. This is my favourite part of Italy, with welcoming hosts, beautiful cities not trampled by tourism and riveting cuisine with surprisingly refined wines
